What's missing
Where the app can't follow a rule to the letter yet, its notes say so, and say how to allow for it when you enter your hours. From this page's agreements:
- The app uses the 2023–2026 rules with the 2026 wages, so a rule changed in the renewal isn't in it yet.
- The agreement doesn't say when overtime starts on a 4×10; the app pays 10 hours straight and time and a half after, and every Friday hour at time and a half. The agreement has no make-up day, so don't tick Make-up day.
- On a Saturday, Sunday or holiday the app pays a night shift's hours at time and a half or double with no extra hour, and on a 4×10 it doesn't use the 7-for-8 rule; the agreement doesn't say. Vacation and pension count the extra hour as an hour paid.
- On a Sunday or holiday the overtime rate is double time; the app still uses time and a half for that half hour.
- The app takes Michigan income tax on it too, as Michigan taxes the wages the federal return does; the sheets only name federal withholding and FICA.
- Art. 13 is written for contractors 'that pay eligible employees transportation allowance', so it may not be owed on every job; the app starts at none. The agreement doesn't say how it's taxed: a flat daily amount paid to everyone is normally taxable wages under IRS rules, so the app adds it to taxable pay, with no dues or vacation on it. Over 50 miles the 21 cents a road mile on the first and last day isn't added: type it under This week's extras if your stub shows it.
