What's missing
Where the app can't follow a rule to the letter yet, its notes say so, and say how to allow for it when you enter your hours. From this page's agreements:
- Field construction and maintenance (Zone 7). The app uses the 2022–2024 rules, which New York's 2026 wage schedules still follow, with the 2026 wage; a rule changed since isn't in it yet. Work under the National Maintenance Agreement or another national agreement has its own rules and isn't built in yet.
- Field construction and maintenance (Zone 7). New York doesn't print the foreman, general foreman or apprentice dollar rates, so the app works them out from those rules, rounded to the cent (a general foreman may be paid more than the minimum). Maintenance work on boilers under 100,000 pounds an hour is paid 90% of the rate in Zone 7: use Enter my own rate.
- Field construction and maintenance (Zone 7). New York's schedule gives the rate in force on July 1 2026 but not the date it started; the agreement's raises fall on January 1, so the app uses it from January 1 2026, and for earlier weeks too (for a 2025 week use Enter my own rate; it was $39.35). On January 1 2027 the package goes up $2.50 an hour "to be allocated at a later date", so the app keeps the 2026 rate until your new rate sheet: then type it under Enter my own rate.
- Field construction and maintenance (Zone 7). The app pays $2.00 on every night, so a 3rd shift is $0.25 an hour short, and only on straight-time hours, as the agreement doesn't say whether the premium is paid on overtime.
- Field construction and maintenance (Zone 7). The app doesn't add the paid meal by itself because the agreement doesn't say at what rate it's paid: if your stub pays it, add the half hour to the day's hours.
- Field construction and maintenance (Zone 7). The agreement doesn't say how it's taxed; a daily amount for getting to work is normally taxable wages under IRS rules, so the app adds it to taxable pay (no dues or vacation on it), and on every day with hours logged. It's also owed for a holiday in the regular work week when you work the scheduled days before and after; the app doesn't add that.
- Field construction and maintenance (Zone 7). Local 5's 2025 report to the US Department of Labor gives field dues as 6.75% of gross wages, its 2024 report as $3.92 an hour, and which applies in which zone isn't published; the app takes 6.75% (type yours on the Settings tab). The per-hour amounts are the 2022 ones printed in the agreement (newer ones aren't published) and are counted on hours worked. The LEAP political fund ($0.05 an hour, only on a signed card, Art. 31) isn't taken. Monthly dues ($58.10 for 2026) are paid to the lodge yourself, so they aren't on the check.
- Field construction and maintenance (Zone 175). The app uses the 2022–2024 rules, which New York's 2026 wage schedules still follow, with the 2026 wage; a rule changed since isn't in it yet. Work under the National Maintenance Agreement or another national agreement has its own rules and isn't built in yet.

- Field construction and maintenance (Zone 197). New York doesn't print the foreman, general foreman or apprentice dollar rates, so the app works them out from those rules, rounded to the cent (a general foreman may be paid more than the minimum). New York's apprentice rates for Zone 197 in the 2022 agreement didn't match the journeyman rate times the percentage (they were figured on a lower rate); the app uses the percentages.
- Field construction and maintenance (Zone 197). New York's schedule gives the rate in force on July 1 2026 but not the date it started; the agreement's raises fall on January 1, so the app uses it from January 1 2026, and for earlier weeks too (for a 2025 week use Enter my own rate; it was $43.34). - Field construction and maintenance (Zone 197). New York's schedule for Zone 197 moves only a Saturday Christmas or New Year's Day to the Friday; the app follows the agreement and moves every Saturday holiday.
- Field construction and maintenance (Zone 197). The app pays $2.00 on every night, so a 3rd shift is $0.25 an hour short, and only on straight-time hours, as the agreement doesn't say whether the premium is paid on overtime.
