What's missing
Where the app can't follow a rule to the letter yet, its notes say so, and say how to allow for it when you enter your hours. From this page's agreements:
- Local 6's July 1 2025 sheet isn't published (the agreement set a 4% package increase on July 1 2025 and again on July 1 2026), so weeks from July 1 2025 to June 30 2026 use the 2024 rates, which are too low: use Enter my own rate for them.
- Overtime that runs into the regular hours stays at the overtime rate after 8 continuous overtime hours; the app doesn't work that out.
- The app pays 10% on every night, on its straight-time hours only, so a 3rd shift comes out 5% short.
- A foreman on a job of 5 days or more is guaranteed 8 hours a day and 40 a week at straight time, holidays included; the app doesn't add it, so enter the hours you're paid.
- The app uses the 2026 amounts for earlier weeks and counts them on hours worked. Monthly dues are paid to the local yourself, so they aren't on the check.
- The sheet doesn't say how the travel expense is taxed; a flat daily amount is normally taxable wages under IRS rules, so the app adds it to taxable pay.
Enter your own hours in the Ironworker app: it applies these rates, the overtime and holiday rules, dues and tax, and keeps a year of paychecks. Free for a month.
