What's missing
Where the app can't follow a rule to the letter yet, its notes say so, and say how to allow for it when you enter your hours. From this page's agreements:
- These are the city's public-work figures; private work under the agreement may differ in ways the schedule doesn't show.
- The agreement's own step dates aren't published, so the app follows the schedule's July 1 start and keeps the 2026 rates after June 30 2027 until the next schedule. The federal Davis-Bacon schedule still prints a 2023 rate ($44.50); the app doesn't use it.
- Five 8-hour days only. Enter the hours you're paid for.
- The app pays double time on those two days too: to see the triple time, enter one and a half times the hours you worked (12 for 8). It takes the paid holiday as 8 hours (the schedule doesn't say how many), and since the schedule doesn't say when a weekend holiday is observed, it uses the national rule, a Saturday holiday on the Friday before and a Sunday one on the Monday after (Independence Day on Friday July 3 2026).
- On a Saturday, Sunday or holiday the app adds no paid-but-not-worked time; don't tick Night on a two-shift job.
- Local 731's dues and other check-offs aren't published. The app takes 4.6% of gross wages, the highest flat working-dues percentage in the laborer agreements this app has (Kansas City heavy's supplemental dues), so your take-home here is on the low side: type your local's % on the Settings tab (0 if it takes none). Any vacation or annuity check-off isn't published either.
Enter your own hours in the Laborer app: it applies these rates, the overtime and holiday rules, dues and tax, and keeps a year of paychecks. Free for a month.
A number on this page is wrong? Report a wrong rate: it opens the app's feedback box with this page named, no email needed.
Between jobs? Open the job-call board: public union hall job calls from across the US in one place, rebuilt every night.
Your agreement isn't here? Send us your agreement from the app's Settings tab. If the app doesn't have it yet, you get a free year when it's added.
