What's missing
Where the app can't follow a rule to the letter yet, its notes say so, and say how to allow for it when you enter your hours. From this page's agreements:
- Only Local 860's Zone 1 apprentice sheet is in the sources; the app works these out from the percentages, rounded to the cent.
- The agreement's rule for a make-up day in a holiday week isn't in the sources; the app treats it like any other week. An owner schedule that starts the week on Sunday at 6 p.m. (then Friday is time and a half and Saturday double time) isn't followed.
- The app adds it to straight-time hours only, since the sources don't say how it meets overtime. On a three-shift job the 2nd shift works 7½ hours and the 3rd 7, each paid as 8, plus $0.50 an hour: that isn't followed, so enter the 8 hours you're paid and don't tick Night.
- On a Sunday or holiday the overtime rate is double time; the app uses time and a half.
- These locals' working-dues percentage isn't published. The known locals take 3% (Local 265), 3.5% (Local 860) and 4% (Local 758) of gross wages, so the app takes 4%, the highest, until you type your local's on the Settings tab. The LIUNA and LDCO political action funds are voluntary and aren't taken. There's no vacation deduction in this agreement.
- The $0.35 is counted on hours worked.
