What's missing
Where the app can't follow a rule to the letter yet, its notes say so, and say how to allow for it when you enter your hours. From this page's agreements:
- The state prints no step dates. $56.15 first shows on the July 15 2026 posting (the May 21 2026 one still has the old rate), so the app starts it on June 1 2026. June 2 2025 is the federal Davis-Bacon date of the $51.87 step, and June 1 2026 a year after it. General foreman and apprentice rates aren't printed: use Enter my own rate, and type your new rate there when the next step comes.
- 4×10 rules and a weekly threshold aren't printed, so the app counts overtime by the day, on five 8-hour days only. Enter the hours you're paid for.
- The local's own list isn't published: the app pays nothing for a holiday you don't work and leaves a Saturday holiday on the Saturday.
- Shift premiums aren't published, so none is added when you tick Night. If your call posts one, use Enter my own rate with it added.
- Local 150's working dues aren't published. The app takes 5% of gross wages, the highest working-dues share in the IBEW agreements read for this app (Newark Local 1105's 5% working assessment; Louisville's is 4.5% plus 10 cents an hour, Cedar Rapids' 4%, San Antonio's and Amarillo's 3.5%): type yours as the dues % on the Settings tab. Monthly (base) dues are paid to the local, not taken by the app.
- Whether it goes through your check isn't printed. The app treats it the way the carpenters' vacation savings on the same Illinois schedules works: added to your taxable pay (×1.5 and ×2 on overtime hours), then sent to the fund after tax. That takes more tax than if your employer sent it to the fund directly, so your take-home may be a little higher.
Enter your own hours in the Electrician app: it applies these rates, the overtime and holiday rules, dues and tax, and keeps a year of paychecks. Free for a month.
