Rates differ by site; this table shows None: the scale rate. The app has the others.
- Overtime
- A call can carry its own terms: data-center and plant calls often post pay over scale, a daily incentive or all overtime at double time, and work under the National Maintenance Agreement (from January 1 2027 the National Construction and Maintenance Agreement), the General Presidents' agreement or a project labor agreement has its own hours, overtime and holidays.
- Per diem and travel
- The agreement has no per diem or subsistence for work inside the local's area.

What's missing
Where the app can't follow a rule to the letter yet, its notes say so, and say how to allow for it when you enter your hours. From this page's agreements:
- Local 429's overtime rules aren't published. The app uses the pattern of the IBEW inside agreements that publish theirs (Newark 1105, Cedar Rapids 405, Austin 520, Amarillo 602): every hour past 8 Monday to Friday and every Saturday hour at time and a half, with no step to double time on a weekday; Sundays and holidays double time. Five 8-hour days only; enter the hours you're paid for, not an unpaid lunch. Data-center and plant calls often pay all overtime at double time: check your call and your stub.
- The holiday list isn't published, so the app marks the six holidays every IBEW inside agreement read for this app has: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas, each on its own date (one on a weekend doesn't move), unpaid unless worked and double time when worked. Tick Holiday on any other day your job observes.
- Shift premiums aren't published, so none is added when you tick Night. If your call posts one, use Enter my own rate with it added.
- Local 429's working dues aren't published. The app takes 5% of gross wages, the highest working-dues share in the IBEW agreements read for this app (Newark Local 1105's 5% working assessment; Louisville's is 4.5% plus 10 cents an hour, Cedar Rapids' 4%, San Antonio's and Amarillo's 3.5%): type yours as the dues % on the Settings tab. Monthly (base) dues are paid to the local, not taken by the app. The schedule's 5-cent Parking Lot Expansion Fund may be a member check-off: it isn't taken.
Enter your own hours in the Electrician app: it applies these rates, the overtime and holiday rules, dues and tax, and keeps a year of paychecks. Free for a month.
A number on this page is wrong? Report a wrong rate: it opens the app's feedback box with this page named, no email needed.
Between jobs? Open the job-call board: public union hall job calls from across the US in one place, rebuilt every night.
Your agreement isn't here? Send us your agreement from the app's Settings tab. If the app doesn't have it yet, you get a free year when it's added.
