What's missing
Where the app can't follow a rule to the letter yet, its notes say so, and say how to allow for it when you enter your hours. From this page's agreements:
- Austin and Central Texas (inside). Only the journeyman rates are printed in dollars; the others are the percentages applied to them, rounded half up at the cent (the JATC's 2024 standards still say 50% for the first period).
- Austin and Central Texas (inside). The 40-hour rule for someone who missed scheduled hours isn't worked out.
- Austin and Central Texas (inside). Every night is taken as a 2nd shift (for a 3rd shift use Enter my own rate with 15% added), and on overtime hours the 10% isn't multiplied (the agreement pays 1.5 times the shift rate).
- Austin and Central Texas (inside). The hours paid for a paid holiday aren't printed (8 assumed), the eligibility test isn't checked, and the 2027 and 2028 paid holidays aren't added yet: tick them by hand.
- Austin and Central Texas (inside). The bylaws' percentage wasn't read for this app. The app takes 5% of gross wages, the highest working-dues share in the IBEW agreements read for this app (Newark Local 1105's 5% working assessment; Louisville's is 4.5% plus 10 cents an hour, Cedar Rapids' 4%, San Antonio's and Amarillo's 3.5%): type yours as the dues % on the Settings tab. Monthly (base) dues are paid to the local, not taken by the app. Not taken by the app (all voluntary): the vacation deduction (6% of gross pay, or what you authorize, after tax, to your Velocity Credit Union vacation account), a 401(k) deferral and COPE (5 cents an hour). The Administrative Fund's 10 cents an hour (Art. XVI) may be an employer payment; it isn't taken.
- Austin data-center and Samsung calls: $43.30, all overtime double time. The calls don't say how long the incentive rate runs or whether it follows the January 4 2027 raise, so the app keeps $43.30: when your rate changes, use Enter my own rate. A medium-voltage terminator call at Sky Box Hutto posted $48.30 straight time with the same double-time overtime: use Enter my own rate for it.
