What's missing
Where the app can't follow a rule to the letter yet, its notes say so, and say how to allow for it when you enter your hours. From this page's agreements:
- Local 666's overtime rules aren't published. The app uses the pattern of the IBEW inside agreements that publish theirs (Newark 1105, Cedar Rapids 405, Austin 520, Amarillo 602): every hour past 8 Monday to Friday and every Saturday hour at time and a half, with no step to double time on a weekday; Sundays and holidays double time. Five 8-hour days only; enter the hours you're paid for, not an unpaid lunch. Data-center and plant calls often pay all overtime at double time: check your call and your stub.
- The hours paid, the eligibility rules and the weekend rule aren't on the sheet (8 hours assumed, each on its own date).
- Every night is taken as a 2nd shift, and on overtime hours the 17.3% isn't multiplied.
- The sheet shows the dues per straight-time hour; the app takes the percentage on overtime pay too.
Enter your own hours in the Electrician app: it applies these rates, the overtime and holiday rules, dues and tax, and keeps a year of paychecks. Free for a month.
A number on this page is wrong? Report a wrong rate: it opens the app's feedback box with this page named, no email needed.
