What's missing
Where the app can't follow a rule to the letter yet, its notes say so, and say how to allow for it when you enter your hours. From this page's agreements:
- The sheet prints the 2026 form-work foreman as $63.41, but 115% of $54.27 is $62.41 and the sheet's own dues figure for it ($2.07) fits $62.41, so the app uses $62.41. The 2027 rates aren't known yet: type your new rate under Enter my own rate when they come.
- The app adds the 13% on every hour worked on a night, overtime hours included, without multiplying it.
- The notes don't say a weekend holiday moves, so the app leaves each on its date.
- The sheet prints the general foreman's as $3.52, but 2% of his wage and benefits is $2.53, which the app uses; the diver ($2.43), form-work general foreman ($2.23) and form-work apprentices ($0.99 to $1.43) are worked out the same way. The app takes them once per hour worked and uses the 2026 amounts for 2025 weeks too. Local 1556's own dues aren't taken through payroll.
Enter your own hours in the Pile Driver app: it applies these rates, the overtime and holiday rules, dues and tax, and keeps a year of paychecks. Free for a month.
